BRAINSTORM & ANALYZE

The first step in our animation journey begins with finding an idea. This is done in several ways from inspiration from other sources, to choosing one of the ideas from our catalogued idea list. We then research this idea to see what would be required and the different ways in which we can make it unique

SCRIPT, STORY BOARD AND EASTER EGGS

Once an idea has been chosen a script is drafted. This script can then be used to create a storyboard (still drawings of key scenes/frames in the animation) 

 This is also the stage in which we choose where most of our easter eggs will go. the 3 main types of easter eggs that feature in our animations are: 
  1.  Our Logo 
  2. A reference to the animation just before the one being produced 
  3. The names of 2-3 people who gave helpful feedback/criticism in animations' comments to help improve future animations

MODELLING AND ANIMATION

Next comes the heart of the process. After concept art has been drawn we begin modelling all that is required often going through several variation of characters/object to find the one that fits best.  Once the modeling is complete, we bring the models to live through animation to tell our story. 

 This is usually the longest stage in the process

EDITING & LAUNCH

After the animation has been rendered it is now ready for editing. Here we add sound effects, background music, color correction(where necessary) and cut out any areas of the animation we no longer need. We are now ready to release the animation for the world to see. We also track the animations progress. 

 Now for the cycle to start all over again
